Pay it Forward - Round Two: Fabric Giveaway

A few weeks ago, I won another giveaway!  Thanks, Hilary!  I got a copy of Love Patchwork and Quilting November issue.  One word: awesome.

So in the spirit, I am #payingitforward (can't decide if I like hashtags or not, do you?) and hosting another giveaway.  Would anyone like some fabric?  I have the following up for grabs:

- Amy Butler Remnant: 9" x 42"
- Michael Miller Remnant:8" x 42"
- DS Quilts Remnant: 12" x 22"
- Robert Kaufman Flannel Type Print: 1/2 yard

So, how do you win this stash?  In the spirit of the holidays, leave me a comment telling me your favorite childhood/adult holiday memory (and your email address if you're a no-reply blogger).  That's it!

Giveaway ends Monday, December 9th, 2013 at Midnight PST.

And ok, I feel like a dork asking, but please be honest.  For the next #payitforward giveaway, would anyone be interested in passing it along? For example, the winner would then host a giveaway (does not need to be extravagant, just extra scraps, something hand-made, small notion, etc.) and we could see how long it could go?  What do you think?

  1. My favorite childhood memory is the year my baby sister and I got matching mermaid dolls that came in this cute shell case. You put them in the bathtub with you and had a comb for their hair and a little sponge with a hole in it. you stuck them in the sponge hole and it kept them afloat for a little while.

    1. I am not entering as I recently won a giveaway myself. But I do want to post my favorite memory of a Christmas long ago.

  2. I can't decide if I like hashtags or not either. I use them on Instagram and that is about it. Paying it forward is always good karma and I would love to participate in something like that. We all have a little "white elephant" hiding in our home we could pass along.
I remember the year I peaked into my christmas gift. I was so excited to be receiving a soft, pink bath robe (something I had longed for for YEARS). I could hardly wait until Christmas morning and dreamed of twirling around wearing nothing but my robe. Christmas morning came. I opened said present. It was not a bath robe BUT a soft pink blanket for my bed. I was so dissappointed! Had I not peaked and thought I was getting a robe, I would have been THRILLED to receive the blanket. Learned my lesson! Never peaked again!
The next year I received a blue flannel bathrobe that I still have to this day (even though it doesn't fit), I loved it that much!
